On set shots

We then started experimenting with lighting and camera angles inside the building to see which parts would be the appropriate places to film our different shots in.

After finding the correct places we intended to use, we then with the help of a few others not included in our group, swept and cleaned the floor so it would okay for our actor (Jake) to lay down and to walk on while shooting without distraction or danger.

Once this was completed we started on the filming for our second and third shots,in which Jake walks through the room and through the door into the main area. During this time, as a group we worked all the lightning to the final places before starting filming.

We then proceeded to the shots that take place as he is lying on the floor, playing dead.We did some final preparations before this to make sure the floor was completely clear of any debris, not only for the safety, but also for the placing of the camera shot. We added fake blood to his face and part of the floor as well.

After leaving the warehouse,we decided that starting our film with an establishment shot of the building would be better than the original idea we had which was the polaroid scene we story boarded (inspired by Memento). So we shot a slow moving along establishment shot of the outside of the building. in which the light turns on in the room where Jake's character is placed,to show which part of the building he is in.
